Mount for attaching microphones to guitars. The standard model will fit any guitar with a body width at the point of attachment of between 84mm and 116mm. Other models are available for smaller (body widths down to 43mm) and larger (up to 144mm) instruments. LiveGuitar H-clamp light is manufactured from aircraft grade polymers and alloys to minimise its weight without compromising its strength. Weighing only around 140g, the LiveGuitar H-clamp Light makes little or no discernable difference to the weight or balance of a guitar unless used with heavy microphones. When folded away, it is small and light enough to fit in the zip pockets of most guitar bags and can safely be transported in a kit bag along with other stage and studio equipment. Despite its low weight, the robust design and high tech materials ensure it can withstand years of battering in a musician's kit bag and still work perfectly every time. Designed to fit most acoustic guitars, from classical to dreadnought, the LiveGuitar H-Clamp was conceived as a device to make using microphones with guitars as simple as possible. It allows almost any microphone to be held securely to the instrument in the optimum position to capture the desired sound. This flexibility of positioning allows the H-Clamp to be placed not only for optimum acoustic quality but also to avoid any impact on the musician’s playing action. The LiveGuitar H-clamp has also been refined to give maximum ease of use without compromising the secure attachment to the guitar or the flexibility of positioning of the microphone.
